The worst part is snaking the wires through to your fuse box (where the relay installs), and finding a grounding point for the ground wires. Allocate an hour for a novice to do the install. They do NOT turn off when you engage your high beams. They DO turn off when you turn off your regular headlights. The fog light switch is included with the package (or at least it was the last time I got one...I've got another couple of sets coming this week, so I'll be able to verify that.) In most states you have have up to 4 sets of lights on simultaneously (8 lights). However, courtesy says that you shouldn't be blinding your other drivers....and you can still get a ticket if the officer thinks you are being too much of an a-hole. With that said, I rarely need the brights on anymore with the fogs. They are truely EXCELLENT (and don't blind other drivers either.)
