howdy listee's,  i have an 82 diesel westy.  my seats are getting kinda
worn out, and i spotted an 84 GL with the better seats with arm rests,
however these are on slides, and not the slide + swivel system of mine.
soo.....

It looks like the slide mech is separate from the swivel enough so a
slide seat will work on my slide/swivel base .... is this correct ?

if so, how the heck do you get the sliding seat out, or any front seat
for that matter.
i could only get it to slide all the way forward or back, but could not
see the method for removing it.
