Subject:Re: Replacing Gas Tank Cross-Over Pipe on 84
From:Robert Steven Fish

I did this in the spring on my '87, and did NOT drop the tank, and left the
wheels on (just jacked up the side that I was working on so I could get my
hand in there). It was pretty simple. One tip I got from a list member was
very valuable though. Tie a string to the broken line before you pull it
out, then tie that string to the new line, and you can pull it back through
quite nicely.

I have been tying strings to everything I remove now... antennas, wires,
etc... great time saver!

Have Fun!

somewhere in the subject line of the email. Otherwise it goes directly in
the trash.
