The old splittie busses had the air intake on over the windshield and the rear windows popped to make a vacuum effect. The 1998 and later Vanagons have exhaust vents located behind the rear windows. Did VW or anyone else for that matter ever devise a way to get air to blow through the entire van short of air conditioning? I.E. was there ever anything made to make the back window pop of an inch or so? I suppose I could cut the roof and put in some kind of skylight back there but that sounds kind of cheesy. Mark Thoma
