I tried the archives, but am getting an error every time I try to open the page.  I am trying
to find a comprehensive list of grounds that need to be cleaned on my Vanagon ('81 Westy).  I
put in a new battery today and was not happy with the ground where the negative battery cable
connects to the battery box.  I took it apart to clean it.  Not only was it badly corroded, it
was also painted!  The factory never removed the paint from the mating surface before bolting
on the cable, so the entire ground had to be through the threads of the bolt.  As a result, I
think it is time to redo all the grounds on the vehicle.  If anyone has a list, let me know.
