I searched the archives and found nothing.  I want to remove the
badging (words "Volkswagen" "syncro" etc.) from the rear lid so that
I can paint the rear lid.

Can anyone please tell me how to go about removing the badges
without breaking them.  I looked at the under (interior) side and
there are no metal rings/clips or anything holding the badges on, just
looks like plastic pushed in through a hole and maybe then melted
to hold the badges in place.  Thanks,  Malcolm
