>I pull one g all the time in my van.... However it is only in the vertical >vector direction. Lots of vehicles can pull one gee... momentarily, before rollover. Probably any T3 can too. A manufacturer's claim (eg Chevrolet for the Corvette) is meaningless, as these cars are unable to MAINTAIN 1 gee for any length of time whatsoever. Such a point-reading is valueless. Tire choice is important here too. Canadian Tire/Costco-tired vehicles need not apply. The only real test is to drive the vehicle at constsnt speed in a decreasing-radius turn or at increasing speed in a circle, and take the reading of the maximum acceleration attained shortly but not just before loss of traction (NOT the reading given at time of loss, as this is not maintainable). -- Andrew Grebneff 165 Evans St, Dunedin 9001, New Zealand <andrew.grebneff@stonebow.otago.ac.nz> Seashell, Macintosh, VW/Toyota van nut
