Hi Matt,

My experience is based on the Digifant 2.1L system but all breakerless
systems work similarly. Using a quality DVOM:

Check the Hall effect sensor in the distributor. The signal wire to the ECU
should rise & fall (~10V - 1V)with distributor rotation.

Check the coil primary negative(term 1) for an on-off frequency (Hz) from
the Electronic Control Module when cranking the engine.

Check the ign coil secondary tower (term 4) for a high voltage spark when an
on-off frequency is occurring at the coil negative while B+ is present at
the coil positive (tem 15).

Regards, John
