Subject:Re: Headlight rewiring - BOSCH Connector P/N

I got the power to the little "city light" by just connecting to the yellow
side running lights.

If I remember correctly, I think you can also do it wrong so that it blinks
when you use the turn signal... I think that this would be bad.

Anyway, you can get the power for that little guy anywhere, as long as it is
hot only with the light switch on (my city lights stays on when the ignition
is off (if the light switch is on), like most European cars).

BOSCH H4 Connector PN 1 304 485 004 (sorry... it really does not look like
an Oreo Cookie... I guess I was just hungry when I made my last posting).
You can see it in action below:

You will also see here the thick cables I used (overkill... but pretty!) the
extra ground I installed on the frame (connecting directly to the battery
ground), and the 4 relays in place.

The high gloss black substance you see is the POR-15 applied to the area
around the headlights... It was a test, but seems to be an amazing
substance. I'll report back on it in a few years.

IMPORTANT!!! In order to reply to me, you must have the word "FISH"
somewhere in the subject line of the email. Otherwise it goes directly in
the trash.
