It was in fact the ECU. "Inga" was a totally changed Vanagon with the new
(er) ECU installed. There imediately was a significant change in the sound
of the ECU tick, from loud and irregular to rolex smooth and quiet.

I hope the new CAT isn't burned out ofter all of this...
