I bought a set of the mudflaps from bus depot for my 81, which now is as low as my 88, after a new set of springs earlier in the summer. When I went to install, I noticed they were fairly low to the ground...maybe 3" or so from touching it. I was concerned if i installed i might rip them off..........anyone have any thoughts on this that is using them on a similar setup?
