Yes rear CV's are the same on a syncro as on a 2wd. The front inner CV is also the same as the rear. However the front outer CV is a totally different animal. On VolksCafe's site the front outer CV kit is $174.95... The front axle assembly is only $174.95! Seems like good deal to me (just ad grease)! A rear axle assembly is only $94.95.
