But now you're changing the *rules*!  When speaking of VW the *rule* is
FIF. Front is Front.  Behind the taillight lives the rear bumper. A
little further behind the taillight lives the guy with a cell phone in
one hand and a newspaper spread out across the steering wheel. You know,
the guy who's going to buy you a new taillight...  In front of the
steering wheel lives the dashboard (or fasia for those of the English
persuasion). If we start making exceptions just because BenT
understands, the next thing you know, we'll be talking about 'rear main
seals' and such.
