Would you be able to rebuild your own engine?

If so, you could make your own 2.2L engine...

Bigger bore pistons 95 mm are available.
Just offset grind the rod journals 1st oversize to get the stroke increase.
Deck the piston tops same amount of offset cut

and you have the 2.2l engine

Use new AMC heads
Do some other custom engine work and you have built your own engine more
powerful than a Ticco and Subie...

The other change is to the gearbox, add a .457 five speed for the perfect
engine gearbox combo...
