Subject:Question ... BEST TYPE FIRE EXTINGUISHER
From:Larry Chase

Folks,

There I was peacefully having morning coffee, going over todays VW Van
related emails when Eric Nettles had to go ruin everything :)

In response the "Spare Parts" Thread on Vanagon.Com he replied:

> Oddly enough, and just to add debate, I was lucky that the fire
extinguisher didn't work when my van's fuel lines went up... The fire was
small and out
early, but an extinguisher would have eaten the metal of the engine block,
doing more damage than the fire did. <

What is the BEST TYPE FIRE EXTINGUISHER, never really got answered.

CO2 / Halone / ???????

Seems like this would be worth while to be clear up.

Opinions WELCOME ...... Facts IMPLEMENTED!
