Dear Volks, As my Westy and 914 both age and I find myself performing more and more mechanical work requiring the aid of a shop press, I would like to ask the more mechanically able of you folks to advise me on buying a decent, affordable shop press. Harbor Freight offers a small 6-ton bench top a-frame model for $49.00 on up to a 10, 12 and 20 ton floor presses approaching $229.00 or so. These reletively inexpensive import models are along the lines of what I had in mind. Would the 6 ton model be inadequate for wheel bearings, suspension bushing etc.? Thanks, Tom Naylor '85 (Nissan-powered Westy) http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/headsearch.taf?function=Search
