i would only use a vw oil filter. workin at a vw dealer i see lots of no name crap filters on vws. you really see the difference when you put the filters in to the oil filter crushes. The amount of pressure it takes to crush a vw filter is a lot more than a no name. So spend the extra $5 and buy a vw oil filter. Patrick 87 Vanagon WBX wolfs.
