looking to plan a trip from tx to alaska next june. any suggestions would be
helpful. will take about 4 weeks. also trying to talk my parents, former
vanagon owners, to come along. buy a westy just for the trip and then sell
it when they get home, as they do not have the need for owning one. looked
into some of the rental places out west and they are around $2500 for that
time period.

any info on places to see, stay, and get work done if needed. ( i am not the
world's best mechanic!)

thanks in advance for all the help
