I have trouble getting my 1983.5 into first.  Once in it is fine.  I have adjusted the plate on the floor to where it goes no further.  I am finding it difficult to find parts to replace and when I do it is very expensive.  

If bushings are the issue is there a west coast source?  Is there a home made remedy?  Any one have a spare assembly?
