Hi all, I need to replace my upper control arm bushes and I think I remember reading that someone on the list had replaced theirs with some aftermarket urethane bushes. I love urethane. I've found anti-sway bushes, tie rod and ball joint replacement bootees in urethane. Does anyone on the list know of other Vanagon parts that can be had in urethane? How about the upper control arm bushes? I'm not a big fan of "metalastic" as the OEM upper inner bushes are constructed. On my British car I've found that a lot of the repo parts with rubber from Taiwan just don't hold up worth a dam. The high ozone we have here in Southern California makes poor quality rubber go away in short time. Urethane holds up and is often less or the same cost as OEM. I don't like to do a job more often than I can get away with. Please email me at Calwolfie@aol.com Thanks, Kevin Dawson 87' 1/2 Camper 74 1/2 TR-6
