Subject:Oil pressure data...need interpretation

Hi all,
Finally got around to installing an oil pressure gauge, as I was having the
oil pressure light/buzzer symptom.

I am running a 90 westy syncro, 2.1L WBX, with 15W50 Mobil 1 synthetic.
When I first start (and the engine is cold), pressure hovers around 50-60
PSI at any speed.

After the engine is warm, I get the following (RPM/PSI):
Idle 900/8-10
2000/25-30
3000/40
4000/45
6000/just kidding

So, now the question is, are these numbers normal? I haven't been able to
duplicate the symptom with the new dual pressure sender. One thing I
noticed is, the old sender had a hole about the size of a wood pencil lead,
and the new one has a hole the size of a pin. Leads me to wonder if the
larger hole is more susceptible to slight pressure fluctuations in the
system, leading to false positives?

I'm driving to Hatch, NM tomorrow, and will try to get the light/buzzer and
see what the pressure is. I'm making a green chile run, so if anyone in
Denver would like some brought back, let me know by tonight.

tx,
bmc :)
