How can you afford to have these gauges installed at shop rates, $40/hr.
Sheesh... They're going to be like $200 each!

Subject: Another VDO Gauge question: Oil Temp Sender doesn't fit in
Drain hole?
Hello all:
From my earlier post and this one I guess you've
figured out today is official "VDO Gauge Install Day"
here in Hooterville...
I ordered a 300 degree oil temp VDO gauge and sender
from Bus Depot...my mechanic (installing it) just
found out the sender won't fit in the oil drain plug.
Called Bus Depot...guy at the counter says to
tap&drill a new hole. Has anyone out there run into
(got a solution to) this problem??? Fast responses
are appreciated as I'm trying to resolve this today.
