Yes, I am on my second set from Schwab. If you request a specific load rating they can produce it. If you're on a budget you can do just fine with their "Jupiter's" though get the 8 ply's. I go the fellows on Aurora about 120th or so. Never steered me wrong, and last set the fellow talked me into kept me from going to the bottom of a rather steep incline earlier this year. (No I'm not using Jupiter's, those are more of a road tire then I have) Tromper 1982 Dieselfant II "The Manatee" -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com]On Behalf Of patrice b Sent: Saturday, September 14, 2002 3:41 AM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Anyone use Les Schwab for tires? Anyone in the Northwest USA use Les Schwab for their vanagon tires? (Besides me, that is) ...just wondering how what they carry rates against other tires. I have to admit that I like the free service and unlimited switching off of summer and winter tires, etc. when I have their tires (and I tend to only travel in the area where their chain has stores anyway.) --Patrice 85GL "VanaBlue"
