Hello all,
Just turned 200,000 miles with original engine and automatic trans. I would
like to dispell the mith of putting in what you paid for the vanagon back
into repairs and parts.In the firstyear Ihave put in aprox  $ 300.00 dollars.
I paid 2,000.00 86gl not bad by my book. ( now that I have just cursed myself
) .
I would like to thank the "LIST" for all of the help i have gotten to deal
with all of the little problems I have had. F. I. ,temp II sensor, rear
heater core, Oxy sensor(grounded green wire) , ect.......
