They (he is) are down in the hills near the Ohio River... about 65 minutes
from me. I have talked to him on the phone about a few things and he seems
to have a pretty good grasp of non-TDI VW diesels. The shop web site shows a
fairly organized small garage set up.

FWIW, I am considering selling my '81 diesel Rabbit and my "82 Caddy P.U.
and may drive down to see what he would offer/trade.  If I can be of any
assistance let me know.
IIRC, his feedback on the List from a couple of years back was neutral to
slightly positive about the collective experiences with him (one really
negative and a couple of goods).
