several years back (pre vanagon for me) i saw a vanagon with a rear
bumper that was a flat shelf that was about 12 or 14 inches deep. I
was just informed by a shop that that vanagon was an 82 like mine and
that the bumper was purchased from an unknown source. they did the
installation but had no idea where he got it and dont remember if it
was a straight bolt on or not. would like to know if anyone knows who
that source may have been. I can find a site with bull bars and stuff
but no custom bumpers. is there another vehicle out there with
bumper setup similar to the vanagon that it may be from?
