Mr.Pat,
It is the glove box light.
You need to flip the switch on the side of it to make it work.

����������My 87 westy has a light above the glovebox
that is about 1" x 2". The
bulb works & there is power to it but it never comes on. What is it
supposed to be? What activates it? Thanks.
