How bout a 4-5X tshirt of dark colorage with a couple of well placed slits
for the hands to access the insides?  Seems to me it would work unless your
wife  wears a 4X tshirt for everyday wear and then you may have to break
out the sewing machine.  The big t shirt works great for changing clothes
in public also(us kayakers are getting more modest in our old age).
