So in the course of my meticulous detailing of my Westy, I discovered
the rear vent filters in the back of the bus.  The passenger side one
was filthy and I assume the driver's side was as well, but I couldn't
find any access.

It appears all the crud is on the inside of the van, suggesting positive
airflow causes the air to flow out of the van through it.  If this is
the case, I probably shouldn't care.

However, since this is a new van, I of course do.  Two questions: does
anyone bother to clean these things out?  If so, is there any reasonable
method of access for getting at the driver's side vent?
