Dear Volks, Well, went up to Joshua Tree and waved at two Vanagon owners. On my return, seems my drain bolt (which my mechanic had mentioned appeared to be stripped) fell out and hemorrhaged oil all over the roadside. My air-cooled buddy behind me did a temporary fix by using an air-cooled lug nut to staunch the flow and it got me home. Tomorrow I'll be checking into how to get this repaired, but was wondering if the list knows how this procedure works. Any advise is helpful. Love and Rockets, DaBomb
