I was recently discussing off list with another listee and he mentioned that in a recent thread (I couldn't find), people were reporting 0-60 times of 30+ seconds for 2.1L 2wd vans. This seems really high, even if they were autos. My ultra-non-scientific run yielded about 19-20 sec in my van (90 Carat 2.1L, 2wd, 4spd, 3/4 tank, 150lbs onboard, shifting at ~5k). If my launches weren't so bloody horrible, I think I could easily get into the 18 sec range. C&D clocked a Syncro Westy (!) at 8.3 sec! http://www.vanagon.com/syncros/technica/car-and-driver/index.html So why are some times so far off (WAY off)?
