I am having the local Nokian dealer order some studded winter tires for my Westy that are not available in the US. They are the Hakkapellita C2, an 8-ply rating commercial light truck tire in size 185/R14. They are about an 82 series so are 25.6" tall. You can see them at http://www.nokiantires.com/indexen.html. Look in product line, passenger, winter, C2. I think they will be a great snow tire. If you've looked, you know that there are not many snow tires that will fit a vanagon and also have suitable load rating. If you want some, contact my local guy Dennis at Kirkland tire 425-822-8251. He doesn't have email. They are about $136 + shipping each by the way, incl studs. No connection to seller other than he is willing to order them for us. If you want some, contact him soon so he can order them all together and save us all some freight. Delivery 5-6 weeks.
