The engine swap started for the first time tonight!
It seemed like it wasn't gonna, but I traced the problem to the cold
start valve not functioning. Further investigation revealed that the
thermo-time switch (turns on the cold start valve) that had originally
been installed on the donor Audi, WASN'T. It was just a temp sensor!
It's extra McLoud (value sized) right now, but Monday will involve a
trip to the muffler man...
