Hello:
I have some friends who recently completed a tiico conversion here
in CA on an '84 vanagon. Unfortuneatly, the smog referee, who is job
it is to certify cars with significant engine modifications now tells
them that he won't even look at their vehicle. This means that
within the month they'll lose their car registration. Does anyone
have any experience with this or ways to work around the problem?
The tiico site says that they're going through an "exemption process"
does anyone have an update on this and when it may be expected?
Thanks much.
