Volks, Had the SA Big Brake Kit sold by Go Westy installed by them a bit over a week ago. Having put approx 1000 miles on this set-up, my current impression is that I noticed less fade, but not dramatic stopping power improvement. Noticeable improvement, but not dramatic. Having stated this .... I'm happy with this purchase and think the improvement is worth it. If I were choosing between the ventilated brake kit and the Big Brake kit .... I'd go for Big Brake. If I were choosing between Ventilated and Stock .... I'd stay stock. In theory the Ventilated just doesn't seem to me to be that much of an improvement, if any. My 2-Cents. Is this the consensus? (the only person i've heard say otherwise was trying to sell them...)
