If you are serious about this vehicle, do a search on the site for Cinnabar Charm. When you said knots, I thought you were referring to the submarine Vanagon. Am I missing something? The submarine Vanagon has been converted to look like a submarine. It even has a periscope installed, and is operated by a guy who calls him self Captain Ping. You can here the bus pinging through it's loudspeakers. I met Capt. Ping in Reno, after driving for 10 hours from Los Angeles. He drove circles around me in the parking lot at Safeway. He didn't say "hi" or any normal salutation like that. All he said was: "How many times did you break down before you got here?" I had to laugh. What a greeting. It said sooo much about my relationship to my vehicle. The answer was twice. And there would be three more to come before I got home. There is also a camp called VW Bus Camp, but Cinnabar and Ping prefer to camp on their own. For more information see: http://www.vwbuscamp.com Love and Rockets, DaBomb
