STOP running cleaners through it. These products are the death of many engines. Use of a high quality oil, proper viscosity is all that is needed. Change the oil more often if needed but avoid the solvents. They dislodge dirt and debris that is not harming anything being stuck there and while the solvent is displacing the oil, your bearings are running unlubricated. I have learned more about bearings and stuff that lurk in the engine. I will run the van and keep running cleaner through it and checking the oil. If anyone is interested I will keep the list posted on what I find. If it gets worse then it will be time to plan on a new engine. Other than AVP, does anyone know of some other good longblock vendors? Regards --JEff Strickrott 82 Westy, South Florida
