Larry:

I installed a 3-led light above my passenger door.  It
makes a good reading light for that seat and can be aimed
around for weak general lighting.  I like it, but wish it
had 4 leds for a little more light.  But it was cheap--
$25.  It is the CLW3 model on the page:
