<html><div style='background-color:'><DIV> <P>No drain plug, but the Haynes is correct. Just remove the filler tube, and when no more atf coming out, remove the pan, and let it drip some more. Just be aware that replacing the atf by yourself only lets you change about half of it, because the other half is mostly in the torque converter. Look around for a auto shop that uses the flushing method, that's the way to r&r all the atf.</P> <P> </P> <P> Hctor<BR><BR></P></DIV> <DIV></DIV> <DIV></DIV> <DIV></DIV> <DIV></DIV>Planning on changing my trany fluid but looked in Bentley and do not see a drain plug similar to the engine drain.......... <DIV></DIV> <DIV></DIV>Look at the Haynes manual and it suggests removing the filler tube and letting the transmission drain from the filler tube hole............ <DIV></DIV> <DIV></DIV>Is there a drain plug in the tranny ? <DIV></DIV> <DIV></DIV>1990 multi, 2.1, water <DIV></DIV> <DIV></DIV>thanks <DIV></DIV>c. <DIV></DIV></div><br clear=all><hr>MSN 8 helps <a href="http://g.msn.com/8HMGEN/2023">ELIMINATE E-MAIL VIRUSES.</a> Get 2 months FREE*.</html>
