3.5 amps is the number to use at 12 volts.

Folks ... Electrical,

Trying to figure out the total power consumption of my "VW Van" Laptop
Computer.

On the bottom of the Laptop ... the power requirment is listed as 16
Volts / 2.6 amps

On the bottom of the 12 Volt to 16 Volt Laptop Power Converter the power
requirment  is listed as 12 volts / 3.5 amps

Am I correct in assuming that the Total Power Consumption for the Laptop
and Converter is 3.5 amps?

I don't believe it could possible be the total of the two which would be
6.1?

Does this make sense?
