I'm still trying to keep this thread alive.

I gave up on trying to find a heater core that I could put in place of the
Vanagon heater core.  Now I'm trying to repair the existing one.  I have
removed the plastic end cap and found the culperate.  The core was leaking
between the tubes that radiate the heat and the end plate that they we
mounted in.  I plan on posting pictures on my website when I'm done showing
the process.  I haven't put them up yet.
