I drive (and park) in some of the steepest streets on a daily basis. I never have trouble with rolling backwards. most hills only require a 3-4 click pull in my 87 2wd. With the 89 Syncro it's even better. But then my 16" Syncro has the larger LT rear brake drums. As previously posted by mark Drillock, put some slack in your parking brake cables, then adjust the rear brake shoes so they just drag on the drum. Then take the slack up from your parking brake cable via the adjusting nuts. It should stop (pardon the pun) you from rolling back or forwarded on your driveway. Assuming of course that your driveway is as "moderately sloped" as you describe. BenT
