if youve ever been to a watercooled VW/Audi show such as Waterfest, you know
that doesnt stop anyone..   :<)   75% of the watercooled vw's at shows have
some sort of taillight modifications..    i think the vanagon ones would be
different, and a good seller. as long as the brakelights appear red when the
brakes are applied, thats all that matters to pass state insp.   i have a set
of clear taillights in my cabriolet that appear red when brakes are applied
and running lights are on, but otherwise look clear.
