Still missing the point Chris.....

1. Four high beams is NOT overkill for high speed driving, take a look and
almost any rally car or for any regular four headlight car for that matter.
2. Yes, lots of cars come with factory fog and/or driving lights, to be used
in the proper conditions for those lights. Using them at other times is both
illegal and just plain wrong.

Don't get me wrong , if I had my way ALL of my cars would have both fogs and
driving lights with 80-100 watt lamps in them.  But they would only be used
at the proper times.
