It is a product that has been around for well over fifty years. Bars leak will seal pinhole leaks in a radiator or heater core. It has some properties to it that lubricate the water pump. It was not formulated to seal compression leaks. It might seal some leaks at water pump gaskets or intake manifold gaskets in the case of Detroit Iron. K&W makes similar products that I understand are good but still nothing will stop compression leaks.
