<< Hello All,   This baffles me.  the front windshield wipers are no
longer alligned with each other. >.

   The splines are made of softer metal than the wiper arm.  Remove the
plastic cap, loosen the nut, reposition the wiper arm and tighten the nut
back down.  Misalignment is often caused by a cat sliding down the
windshield. <G>
