Hold on....

Clearance is from NC (like my brother in law) not out West.  In NC they
count points on deer on both sides and where ever else they might find
them (brother in law always like carrying a few points around to add to
the story, very similar to a fishing story out West).  So a 4 pointer in
NC is like a small cat in the West and probably wouldn't be legal to
take since it probably still have some of it's spots.

You guessed it, Saturday I hit a dear dead center. Sad to report that it
was fatal for the 4 pointer. I felt really bad but it was 100%
unavoidable......... Could have been a lot worse than it was..
Minor sheet metal damage that I have already repaired.
