Looks interesting,

make it a bit more hemispherical and you'll have old farts like D. Beierl
and A, Knoll buying them so that they can shoot some fixes with their
sextants before going to bed.

But apart from that I don't see the pluses... minuses (for me) are a bigger
target when loading the canoe up top and not being able to sneak into some
garages.
