In the good old days of the Alaska Pipeline construction, people "commuted" from as far away as Florida to work on the Pipeline. Fourteen 12's on, 7 days off. All northbound commuters converged on Seattle for the jump to Alaska and Anchorage, then from there to the North Slope. A "Snow Storm" was when everyone on the flight was snorting what was fondly and jokingly known as "Alaska Snow" and somebody sneezed!!!!! -[;<)> John Rodgers 88 GL Driver Mike Miller wrote: > What's a 'snow storm'? > > Mike > > On 12/5/02 9:51 AM, "Kenneth Wilford" <kenwilfy@COMCAST.NET> wrote: > > >>Just letting you folks know that we are remaining open despite the weather >>and as far as I know UPS is still going to be picking up today so if you >>need anything please give us a call. >> >>Thanks, >>Ken Wilford >>John 3:16 >>http://www.vanagain.com >>Phone: (856)-327-4936 >>Fax: (856)-327-2242 >> > >
