You guys definitely need to get more Vanagon mechanics there. I can take my
van in to my local shop for a head job in the morning and get it out same
afternoon with new AMC heads. Of course, it helps to always be on good terms
with your local shop. I give them occasional jobs that I can easily do myself
just so they don't think I only give them the PITA jobs. Works for me.
